Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt is a German wine producer located in the Mosel Valley. It is one of the most traditional in the region and has a wide range of top vineyard holdings in the Mosel, Saar, and Ruwer. Kesselstatt is well known for its dry Kabinett and Spätlese Riesling wines as well as its Trockenbeerenauslese from the esteemed Piesporter Goldtröpfchen vineyard. The estate has a history spanning more than 670 years. The first record of a purchased vineyard dates back to 1349. Many of its top vineyard plots were purchased between 1854 and 1889. Since 1978, Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt has been owned by the Reh family, and is currently run by second generation family member Annegret Reh-Gartner. She personally was recognized with an award: in 1989, she was named “vintner of the year” and was nominated for this “wine industry Oscar” again in 2001 and 2005.
