Chateau Lousteauneuf was classified as Cru Bourgeois in 1932 but after revision in 2003, it was reclassified as Cru Bourgeois Superieur. The Segond family bought this estate in 1962, replanted the vineyards with new vines and expanded the vineyard to 15 hectares. Now, son Bruno is the owner of this estate, bringing with him dynamic and innovative techniques. He is also employing the services of famous Bordeaux left-bank consultant Olivier Dauga.
