MAISON TAKENO

MAISON TAKENO

MAISON TAKENO

An extraordinary house Maison Takeno was founded in 1864 in Kyoto prefecture, Kyotango. Historically the house was located next to a temple and was destroyed during the war. It was much later, in 1947, that the Takeno house was recreated by the association of four Sakaguras that had been closed until then. Today Yoshiki is the guardian and the 6th heir. Maison Takeno is very close to rice producers. All the rice is local except for the Asahi rice from the Asahi kurabuu cuvée. The latter comes from a producer in the Shiga region with whom the house has become very close over the years. Maison Takeno mainly works with kamenoo rice, which is an integral part of the region and the history of the house. The House is located on the tip of Kyontango which enjoys very hot and very cold temperatures, ideal for agriculture and rice fields. This little piece of paradise is a very fertile place, which has high quality water. The water is soft and does not interfere with the rice, which leaves the latter free to express itself. Yoshiki: A young toji with a future Yoshiki is therefore the 6th heir to the House but brings a more sensitive dynamic. His desire is to reverse the codes, his goal when he produces sake is to take sake lovers elsewhere. For several years he has deepened this knowledge and is always in research and emotion. Recently, Maison Takeno has been offering exceptional sakes. These unique cuvées, in small quantities, in which Yoshiki puts a lot of emotions and energy into them is a more philosophical and spiritual vision of life. The secret fermentation techniques make it possible to create extraordinary sakes that will transport amateurs to another dimension...Buy Maison Takeno online from VINO&VINO wine and spirits shop and enjoy free delivery in Yerevan.
