Azienda Agricola Oasi degli Angeli is a small Italian wine producer based in Piceno in the eastern region of Marche. The estate produces just two Marche IGT wines and is particularly known for its 100 percent Montepulciano wine, Kurni, which was first launched from the 1997 vintage. The company was founded by Eleonora Rossi and Marco Casolanetti, and is situated in the commune of Cupra Marittima. Oasi degli Angeli has just 1 hectare (3 acres) of vineyard that occupies south-facing slopes made up of calcareous soils. Oasi degli Angeli's 40-year-old Montepulciano vines are densely planted and cultivated without the use of chemicals. Once picked, the grapes are transferred to stainless steel vats for fermentation. The wine then spends approximately 18 months in French oak barriques, before bottling without filtration. The estate's second wine, Kupra, is a red Marche IGT wine made from 100 percent Grenache.
