Colour: bright light red.

Palate: tannic, combines pepper, truffle, blackcurrant, blackberry, cinnamon, plum accents.
Food pairing: pairs well with grilled meats, especially game meats such as venison or duck. It also makes a great complement to rich, flavorful cheeses such as brie or camembert.
