Bodegas LA HORRA, founded in 2009 and located in La Horra, Ribera del Duero, produces two wines with the Tinta del País variety, CORIMBO, and CORIMBO I. At Bodegas LA HORRA, the detailed work we do in the vineyard is extrapolated to the winery. Our wines are a clear reflection of our area, the vintage, and the landscape. The wines from Bodegas LA HORRA are governed by three basic concepts: Avoiding excess wood Avoiding over-ripening -maintaining freshness Carrying out a very careful extraction to favor the fineness of the tannin The CORIMBO project is based on respect for the environment and a big effort in Innovation, Research, and Development. Bodegas RODA, after a trajectory of more than 20 years that have made it one of the most prestigious wineries in the D.O.Ca. Rioja, started an investigation through the Spanish territory in search of the best lands for the cultivation of Tempranillo outside of La Rioja. The region that showed the best aptitude according to the criteria used was Ribera del Duero and, within this D.O., the La Horra area in the province of Burgos. This was the place chosen for, in April 2009, Bodegas LA HORRA was born with CORIMBO and CORIMBO I, wines of character, pleasant and elegant that are located at the top among the Ribera del Duero.
