Colour: deep purple.
Nose: aroma of the wine is filled with seductive tones of black cherry, blueberry and plum jam, complemented by warm spicy tones of cloves and coffee.
Palate: full, rich, surprisingly soft taste with fruit, berry and spicy accents, an excellent balance of acidity and tannin, and a velvety texture. The aftertaste is long, warm, dry.
Food pairing: grilled tuna and smoked trout, mushrooms, roasted duck breast or lasagna.
Serving temperature: 16-18oC.
