Colour: intense ruby red.
Nose: cherry tones, notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and violet, undergrowth, tobacco and spices.
Palate: rich, plentiful taste with a silky texture, against which the tones of black fruits, notes of blackberries and currants are revealed, framed by piquant tones of licorice.
Food pairing: red meat dishes and noble cheeses. Decanting is recommended before serving.
Serving temperature: 16-18oC.
